The website operator takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. Keep in mind that data transmission over the Internet can always be subject to security gaps. Full protection against access by strangers is not possible.

Access data
The website operator or website provider collects data about access to the site and saves it as “server log files”. The following data are logged:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source / reference from which you came to the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The data collected is only used for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are specific indications of illegal use. Log files are created. All IP addresses are anonymized when the log files are created, i.e. by making the last three digits unrecognizable so that it is no longer possible to draw any conclusions about a specific IP address. (e.g. 192.168.0.123 is saved as 192.168.0.0).

Cookies
This site uses cookies. These are small text files that are saved on your device. These do no harm. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of this website.

The website operator only collects, uses and passes on your personal data if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the data collection.

If you contact the website operator through the offered contact options (e.g. email), your details will be stored for a period of six months so that they can be used to process and answer your request and in the event of follow-up questions. Without your consent, this data will not be passed on to third parties.

External links
Our website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites (“external links”). Different data protection and cookie guidelines may apply to such websites. Comprehensive information about the data protection and cookie guidelines of other websites is absolutely necessary. They relate to the use of personal data that you provide yourself or that are collected using cookies when you visit these websites. These websites are the responsibility of the respective operators. We assume no liability or responsibility for data protection on third party websites. The setting of external links does not mean that we make the content behind the reference or link our own. A permanent control of the external links is not reasonable for us without concrete indications of legal violations. Use of such websites is therefore at your own risk.

Integration of services and content from third parties
We use content or service offers from third-party providers within our online offer based on our legitimate interests (ie interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Article 6 (1) lit. Services such as Include videos or fonts (hereinafter referred to as “content”). This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they could not send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We strive to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Third-party providers can also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. The “pixel tags” can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information can also be stored in cookies on the device of the user and contain, among other things, technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information on the use of our online offer, as well as being linked to such information from other sources.

The following illustration provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their data protection declarations, which provide further information on the processing of data and, in part. already mentioned here, options for objection (so-called opt-out) include:

We use WordPress as CMS. The comment function has been deactivated on the entire website. The WordPress plugin we use does not store any IP addresses.

Google Fonts
We integrate the fonts (“Google Fonts”) from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. These are embedded directly and not via the Google server. This way we can guarantee that no cookies are set.

Rights of the user: information, correction
Upon request, you as a user will receive free information about which personal data has been stored about you. If your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to store data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.

Deletion of data
The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention requirements. If the user’s data is not deleted because it is required for other and legally permissible purposes, its processing will be restricted. I.e. the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes. This applies e.g. for user data that must be kept for commercial or tax reasons.

Right to object
Users can object to the future processing of their personal data at any time in accordance with the legal requirements. The objection can in particular be made against processing for direct marketing purposes.

Storage
Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to provide our services. If longer storage is necessary due to legal regulations, storage takes place until this period expires.

Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or in the event of changes to the service and data processing. However, this only applies to explanations of data processing. If user consent is required or parts of the data protection declaration contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the user.

Users are asked to inform themselves regularly about the content of the data protection declaration.
